The British Parking Association (BPA) has accused the government of reneging on a commitment to make £200m available for NHS trusts to improve parking facilities and capacity.
In 2020 the Department for Health and Social Care announced that £200m would be made available to help English NHS trusts improve the systems used to manage parking in light of an increase in the numbers of staff and patients driving to hospital in order to maintain social distancing.
