Cornwall parking officers patrol on e-bikes

Cornwall Council’s parking enforcement team is expanding its use of electric-powered bikes (e-bikes). The team has been trialling the use of electric-powered bikes (e-bikes) since August 2020.

Civil enforcement officers use the e-bikes in a bid to reduce the team’s impact on the environment.

From May, the team is deploying eight bikes that will be used to travel to towns around the county and provide high-visibility patrols.
