NHS England and Improvement (NHS E&I) provided NHS Trusts with the full definitions of free parking concessionary groups on 23 March.

Free parking at English hospitals was promised in the 2019 Conservative election manifesto. While parking fees have been banned entirely at NHS hospitals in Scotland and Wales, in England the concession has been limited to those defined as being “most in need”.
