The London Borough of Newham has topped a league table of councils generating revenue from parking enforcement compiled by comparethemarket.com.
The price comparison website sent Freedom of Information requests sent to local authorities in August 2020. Its calculations are based on the responses of 204 councils that responded with information covering the period from August 2019 to July 2020.
