Winchester City Council has switched its cashless parking service to RingGo following a competitive tender process.
The service had previously been provided by PayByPhone.
As part of the transfer of service, Winchester City Council is removing the “convenience fee” previously levied for paying for parking by phone, bringing the service in line with machine payments. The reason for dropping the surcharge is to encourage greater take-up of phone parking across the city.
