Edinburgh reveals next tranche of temporary active travel measures

Councillors in Edinburgh this week voted in favour of a further major programme of temporary measures to benefit active travel, including segregated cycle lanes and widened pavements.  

The changes affect four radial routes and are funded by the council’s £5m Spaces for People grant from the Scottish Government for temporary measures during Covid-19. A final decision on the measures will be made at a forthcoming meeting of the full council.
