Forgive me for following up my letter on battery electric cars (LTT 02 Oct). I do so because, in the same issue, we have COMEAP, the Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollution, declaring that there is no “compelling narrative of adverse health effect of exposure to non-exhaust particles from road traffic” (‘No compelling evidence that brake & tyre dust harm health’).

Recapping, my letter said the ‘great dirty diesel scare’ was sparked by the COMEAP...
