Chipside, a smart cities platform provider for UK local government, has signed an agreement with Elavon, a global merchant acquirer, to provide merchant services for its MiPermit digital permits service.
Elavon purchased Sagepay, now Opayo, in November 2019. Opayo is a long-term strategic supplier with Chipside and their web platform, www.MiPermit.com.
Paul Moorby OBE, chief executive of Chipside, said: “Our relationship with Elavon will allow us to further evolve our leading-edge payment processing services.
The Elavon merchant services platform allows Chipside to introduce new products and services into the local government market.
Migrations for individual customer accounts, under our PCI level 1 service provider accreditation will be handled by our local government service delivery team.”
