Northamptonshire County Council has brought some transport services in-house under a short-term extension to the highway services contract with the KierWSP joint venture.
Home-to-school transport and bus and rail matters were transferred in-house on 1 April. The capital projects development unit, New Roads and Streetworks Act activities, travel choices, and customer services are among services that transferred on 1 July. All staff have moved under TUPE arrangements.
