Portsmouth City Council has closed some roads in the city centre, with the exception of buses.

Central sections of Charlotte Street, Isambard Kingdom Brunel Drive and Guildhall Walk were closed on 22 May. Deliveries and collection to residents within the closed roads will be permitted before 8am and after 8pm.

The closures will make travel safer for pedestrians and cyclists by providing more space for social distancing, the council said.
