The Castle Gateway vision for the area around Clifford’s Tower

The surface car park at Clifford’s Tower in York became an outdoor cinema for a day… in January.

The film was The Eye Project, a short made by four local artists, which recalls the history of the Castle Gateway area, while looking at its possible future.

The Eye Project was overseen by Kaizen Arts and English Heritage and was shown from Castle car park on 25 January as part of York Residents Festival.
