A Somerset council is planning to sell off one of its car parks. South Somerset District Council leases the Churchfields building in Wincanton to Avon & Somerset Constabulary and a nursery.
In June 2019 the council announced it was looking into selling the building as it was surplus to operational requirements. The adjoining car park will now be included in the sale of the property.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund regeneration projects.
