Parking in Birmingham set for re-think

City’s parking policies will promote sustainable travel

Parking policies in Birmingham are to be revised to encourage more journeys on bike, foot or by public transport and to manage parking so that it “supports an efficient network while delivering sustainable growth”.

Birmingham’s city council’s Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) will replace its existing Car Parking Guidelines Planning Document (2012) and elements of the Birmingham Parking Policy (2010).
