Volkswagen has provided a glimpse into the future in which the search for charging stations for electric cars comes to an end. This will involve a mobile charging robot driving to the electric car completely autonomously. After it is started via an app or V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication, the mobile robot will drive itself to the vehicle that needs charging and communicate with it.
