Extra parking at Garforth station

Parking capacity at Garforth rail station, near Leeds in West Yorkshire, has been increased to 333 spaces following completion of a £1.1m extension scheme.

An additional 83 spaces were opened to the public on 20 December. All the parking spaces are free.

Blue Badge bay provision has been trebled from 5 to 15 and a new cycle storage shelter and repair station have been created.

CCTV and low-energy lighting have been installed.
