Launching the OxPop scheme

A network of retractable electric vehicle (EV) charging points has been installed across Oxford. Innovate UK has awarded funding to Oxford City Council and technology company Urban Electric funding to trial the pop-up on-street EV charging points in residents’ parking bays. The chargepoints are known as OxPops.

As part of Oxford’s citywide roll-out of chargers, the OxPops trial will help the council review the demand for chargers on this and surrounding roads.
