Over 1,700 parking bay sensors have been linked to a mobile app in Halifax, West Yorkshire. The Smart City Solution is designed to save local residents and visitors time when finding and paying for parking. It has been rolled out by Calderdale Council in partnership with kerbside management and intelligent mobility firm AppyWay.
The Smart City Parking scheme was introduced in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, earlier this year and will soon be going live in Portsmouth.
