The StreetWise consortium announced the launch of its commuter research trials with invited participants on 24 October. This demonstration of self-driving vehicles will take place mixed-use public roads, deploying advanced technology developed by FiveAI, who lead the project.

FiveAI is partnering with insurance company Direct Line Group and the consultancy TRL to run an invite-only self-driving research trial across a fixed route in the London boroughs of Croydon and Bromley.
