One-in-five motorists would pay £10 a month to park at work if the money were donated to charity, according to a new survey.

The web-based poll of 650 people from independent car retailer Motorpoint found 20% of drivers would support the introduction of a ‘Charity Parking Scheme’ whereby employees pay a monthly donation to a nominated charity in return for a reserved parking space at their place of work.
