Most of the people who drive into Harrogate to go shopping find it easy to locate a parking space, suggests a survey conducted by the North Yorkshire town’s MP.

Some 10,000 Harrogate residents responded to the enquiry into the state of retail in the town circulated by Andrew Jones MP, a former Conservative transport minister. The residents, who selected at random, were asked their views on all aspects of Harrogate’s retail offer, and nearly 2,800 responded.
