APT Skidata launches field-based service platform

APT Skidata has introduced a new cloud-based automated service platform. The online portal gives customers access to technical support though a chat facility. The system also schedules service calls, tracks existing service requests and the status of jobs, generates quotations and shops for spares.

The platform has been launched following a programme to asset-tag all APT Skidata equipment installed across the UK.
