A trial of dockless bikes is underway in the City of London with two operators, though a third has continued to run a scheme without the City’s support.
In March, the Corporation of London announced a six-month trial of a new approach to managing dockless bike hire operations. Seven operators responded to the call to participate in the trial: Beryl, Donky Republic, Freebike, InMotion Ventures, JUMP, Lime and Mobike.
