Islington transforms lampposts into EV charging points

Islington Council has installed electric charging points in lampposts to help tackle air pollution and help drivers to switch to cleaner vehicles.

Following a trial in the north London borough last year, 60 charging units have been installed into existing lampposts on streets that are close to residents who requested them.
