Government to invest £37m in EV charging projects

The government is investing £37m in engineering projects designed to transform electric chargepoint infrastructure. Twelve projects are set to receive a share of the funding. These include solar-powered forecourts, underground charging systems and wireless charging technologies that would mean electric vehicles could charge without the need to plug in a cable.
