Free parking trialled in Ellesmere Port

Cheshire West and Chester Council is trialling a free parking offer at its Wellington Road North car park.

Parking will be available free of charge all day until the car park closes at 7pm, every day of the week, until the end of December.

The council hopes that providing free parking will increase the use of the car park by people needing longer stays in the town, which will relieve pressure on the car parks closest to the shops and other amenities in the town.
