Hertfordshire cracks down on Blue Badge fraud

The confiscation of Blue Badges and concessionary travel passes that have been misused has saved Hertfordshire taxpayers £1.8m, the county council has revealed. 

Data presented to the county council’s resources and performance cabinet panel on 10 May shows that Blue Badge and concessionary travel schemes have been abused by thousands of travellers.
