Private parking data requests surge by a fifth, says RAC Foundation

Parking companies accessed nearly 7 million sets of DVLA vehicle keeper records in 2018-19

The number of penalty tickets issued to drivers parking on private land has increased by more than a million in just 12 months, the RAC Foundation suggests based on the latest figures.

The RAC Foundation’s analysis of DVLA data for the financial year 2018-19 shows that 6.8 million sets of vehicle keeper records were released to car parking management companies.
