Councils raise £242m from parking permits, suggests survey

Local authorities have raised around £242m from parking permits over the last three years, according to a new study by Churchill Car Insurance. The study revealed that in 2017 roads with permits generated £87.6m in revenue, a 13% increase on 2016. However, the figure dropped last year to £77.2m.
