Homes and shops served by 1,900 parking spaces could be built as part of a £60m project near the new Midland Metropolitan Hospital in Smethwick. Developers MHBL have submitted proposals, which include 159 one and two-bedroom apartments for rent, on brownfield land off London Street.
MHBL said it hopes the new homes will also be available for hospital staff including nurses and doctors. The proposals also include 20% affordable housing.
