Cardiff ‘self-ticketing’ parking operation filmed posting signs after car was parked

A parking company was caught on CCTV erecting a ‘No parking’ sign on private land in Cardiff before taking the details of parked car. The attendant then took the sign down and the car’s owner was sent a £100 parking charge notice via post.

The PCN was issued by Peter Ahmed, a former boxer who runs a car park near Curran Embankment in Butetown.
