Carmarthenshire proposes beauty spot parking charges

Carmarthenshire County Council has raised hackles by proposing to introduce parking charges at several popular beauty spots.

The council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Acts 1984 and 2004 that would amend the county’s off-street parking order of 2014, which describes the areas subject to enforcement by the authority under decriminalised parking powers. The public had until 22 March to lodge objections.
