Orbility is new name for Off Street Parking UK

27 March 2019

Off Street Parking, which produces the Multipark range of payment systems, is now trading under the brand name Orbility.

Over the past 50 years the company has operated under various flags, including Elsydel, Ascom, ACS and Xerox. In 2017 Xerox spun out its parking operations to create the separate Conduent business services group and last year Conduent decided to sell off non-core activities.

While Conduent retained its parking enforcement software business, it sold its off-street technology and US airport parking business to Andera Partners, an investment company based in France. Off Street Parking (OSP) was the name given to the technology business by Conduent before the sale.

The new Orbility brand was unveiled by Laurent Gilles, president of Orbility, at the company’s headquarters in Paris. Gilles explained that the name is a fusion of ‘orbit’ to reinforce the global presence and ‘mobility’.

Denis Brazzolotto, head of sales and marketing at Orbility, said: “With almost 50 years’ experience and after operating under various former well known names, the company has become a world leader in innovative off street parking management systems.

“Technology has been a major driver and we now offer solutions such as Multipark Web Portal, which is quick to install, easy to use and requires little maintenance. It allows operators full and easy access in the supervision of parking, either locally or remotely.”

The Multipark pay-on-foot range has been adopted by airports, shopping centres, hotels, local authorities and private sector operators around the globe. The range includes ticketless parking, entry and exit readers, pay-on-foot stations and manual cashier terminals.

Orbility develops loyalty schemes, customised welcome messages, online booking and customised tariff bands for weekends and event use. It also offers support via a 24/7 call centre and online.

In the UK, Orbility operates from head offices in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The UK operation is led by operations director Steb Martinez.
