Gwynedd Council is poised to expand its parking enforcement activities at cover car parks belonging to other organisations. The North Wales county, which includes most of Snowdonia National Park, attracts many tourists. Gwynedd’s dispersed rural population is largely dependent on cars to access towns and facilities.

Gwynedd Council said it has many years’ experience of decriminalised parking enforcement and there is evidence the service has become increasingly efficient.
