Flintshire County Council is planning to construct a park & ride facility for employees at one of Europe’s largest industrial estates, where on-street parking has been causing problems.

The 2,000-acre Deeside Industrial Park (DIP) in Flintshire, North Wales, provides employment for more than 9,000 people, but has no railway station. Most workers commute by car, leading to parking pressures.
