Consumer Council overturns £40,000 of NI private penalties

Northern Ireland's consumer protection body overturned £40,000 worth of fines issued by private parking companies last year. The Consumer Council, an independent body tasked with helping consumers across a range of sectors in Northern Ireland, said the challenges relate to 333 tickets in the past 12 months.
