Four in 10 NHS hospitals in England have increased the price of parking in the last year, according to data collected by the Press Association (PA). A total of 124 of the 152 NHS trusts responded to Freedom of Information requests. In all 53 said the price of parking had gone up for visitors or staff, or both, with some trusts having doubled the cost of certain stays for visitors in 2017-18.
