Private parking sector on course to issue 6.8m PCNs a year, says RAC Foundation

Private parking firms are on course to issue 6.8 million a year, the equivalent of one parking charge notice being written every five seconds, the RAC Foundation claims.

The motoring research body has analyses information published by the DVLA that shows in the second quarter of 2018-19 the agency sold 1.71 million sets of vehicle keeper records to car parking management companies.
