Six-month delay to Halton Curve service

Introduction of an hourly rail passenger service over the refurbished Halton Curve in Cheshire has been delayed by six months. Network Rail completed the £19m infrastructure improvement last May, but Transport for Wales Rail Services (as operator KeolisAmey is branded in Wales) has insufficient rolling stock to launch the hourly Liverpool to Chester service via the curve in December.
