A joint action between Liverpool City Council, Merseyside Police and the DVLA resulted in over 20 vehicles being ticketed for obstructing the pavement and their owners issued with Traffic Offence Reports.
Nine of the 22 vehicles found parking on pavements in the Tuebrook area of the city were untaxed, with seven being removed by recovery trucks. The action was mounted following concerns raised by the community about vehicles being parked on the pavement causing an obstruction.
