ZipCar UK’s former head of marketing joins AppyParking

AppyParking has announced that its new head of marketing is Garry Thornton, who previously worked at Zipcar UK, where he was tasked with changing people’s perceptions of car ownership and bringing the concept of car sharing into the UK mainstream.

Thornton will support AppyParking founder Dan Hubert in raising awareness of new smart city solutions that enable cities, fleets and the general public to overcome the friction and inefficiencies of traditional parking solutions.
