The APT Skidata Ticketless solution

Parking equipment manufacturer APT Skidata has launched a ticketless system for operators that offer an initial free parking period based on automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).

The Ticketless solution dispenses with conventional paper tickets or RFID cards, instead using either vehicle’s number plate or ‘virtual ticket’ as the access medium. An exit barrier linked to the system will automatically open for all paid parking transactions.
