Traffic Penalty Tribunal decision on Mersey Gateway charges upheld on review

The order regulating the Mersey Gateway Bridge has been revised following a decision by the Traffic Penalty Tribunal (TPT), which hears appeals from drivers issued with penalties for non-payment of tolls. Charges for crossing the bridge are collected online or via phone rather than at traditional barrier-controlled booths.
