Highland Council has modernised existing pay & display machines using a third party upgrade solution produced by International Parking Systems (UK).

The Scottish local authority has adopted IPS (UK) equipment in 19 Metric Accent machines located in the towns of Fort William and Inverness. In addition, two of IPS’s own MS1 pay & display machines have been installed in Fort Augustus. 

All the machines are installed with contactless payment technology.
