Hempstead Valley shopping centre to be expanded

New retail units and a parking deck will be created at Hempstead Valley shopping centre near Gillingham in Kent. While the new parking deck will make up for some of the lost spaces there will be a net loss of 50 spaces.

Medway Council’s planning committee has approved a 24,500 square metre extension. Five large new units will be built on part of the existing car park.
