Manchester Airport to scrap free ‘kiss & fly’

Manchester Airport is scrapping its free ‘kiss & fly’ drop-off lanes in order to ease traffic congestion.

From June drivers will have to pay £3 to stop for five minutes outside the terminals, bus and train stations. 

A free drop-off & ride service served by a shuttle bus will be introduced in the long-stay Jet Park 1 in Thorley Lane. This will add seven minutes to passengers’ journeys to cover the half-mile to Terminal 2, and 12 minutes to Terminals 1 and 3,...
