Ending free parking is price of permission to expand Brent Cross shopping centre

Property companies Hammerson and Standard Life Investments have won permission to expand the Brent Cross shopping centre in north London, but at the price of ending the provision of free parking.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre has had free parking for visitors since it opened in 1976, but that will change when the redevelopment is completed in 2022.
