English councils prosecute over 1,100 Blue Badge fraudsters

Over 1,100 people were successfully prosecuted by local authorities for misuse of disabled parking permits in England in the last financial year, according to new figures from the Department for Transport (DfT). There were 1,131 successful prosecutions for Blue Badge fraud in 2016-17, up from 535 in 2013-14.
