APT Security Systems bought by NVM

A Lancashire business that supplies control systems for automatic doors has bought Hertfordshire access control manufacturer APT Security Systems from SWARCO.

The deal will give North Valley Metal (NVM), which is based in Nelson, a presence in the south of England and provide a new market for its products.

Founded in 1966, NVM makes electric control systems are used in industrial doors, garage doors and automated gate and entrance systems.
