Union leader slams ‘rip-off’ rail parking charges

A trade union leader has accused rail companies of charging passengers “rip-off” parking charges at stations. 

Mick Whelan, general secretary of ASLEF, the train drivers’ union, accused train operating companies (TOCs) of driving up the cost of parking.
