The majority of motorists want to remain in control of cars, even when self-driving cars become available, according to research published by Japanese carmaker Mazda.

The research, carried out by Ipsos MORI, reveals 71% of people surveyed saying they would still want to drive, even with self-driving technology available, whilst only 29% actively welcome the arrival of autonomous vehicles.
